Event Marketing Strategies (EMS) has been involved in the marketing, sponsorship and promotion of concerts, fairs, festivals, sports events, as well as other live events since 1981. We were the first company to bring non-traditional, corporate sponsors to U.S. fairs, and have grown that list to include dozens of nationally recognized brands and hundreds of fairs and festivals nationwide.
Jeff Milgrom, founder and president of EMS began his career in radio and television production before concentrating on sponsorship and promotion development and management. His experience includes directing a number of corporate sponsorship campaigns for charitable events, national concert tours as well as has negotiated endorsement deals for major boxing related events. In addition, Milgrom has directed a variety of local market telethon campaigns for United Cerebral Palsy – overseeing all fund raising, media promotions, and corporate sponsorships. This combined experience led to the development and management of the Corporate Marketing and Sponsorship Program of the Ohio State Fair in 1985 – a first of its kind in the fair and festival industry. Today, EMS continues to manage and enhance this program.
Event Marketing Strategies has grown from this experience to develop, manage, and execute consumer promotions and sponsorships for corporations at local as well as large scale events across the nation through its FairAmerica™ and Festival USA™ marketing programs.
